Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani Jimoh came second with distance 230 votes followed by Primate Charles Odugbesi who polled 22 votes. The reconciliatory meeting ended at 12.09pm and voting proper started at 12.15pm with statutory delegates after which the elected delegates were called upon to cast vote starting with Ijede LGA executives and then wards. Disagreement ensued between some aspirants and APC Chairman in Ikorodu, Alhaji Rilwan Jinadu on voting pattern. The electoral committee members and Hon Sanai O.B. Agunbiade started reconciliatory meeting with aspirants and agents. Former Deputy Governor, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye and Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa arrivd the venue at 11.54am and 11.56am respectively.
