General Hospital Ikorodu, has once again been honoured for its excellent service delivery to patients by the Lagos State Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA).
At the ceremony held at NECA House, Alausa-Ikeja, organised in commemoration of the the 2026 World Patient Safety Day, the leading medical facility was honoured in recognition of its commitment to SafeCare and patient safety.
Themed “Safe Care for Non-Communicable Diseases – Safe Care for Life,” the event brought together healthcare leaders, professionals, patients and other stakeholders to discuss strategies for strengthening patient safety in the prevention, diagnosis and management of non-communicable diseases.
The award was received on behalf of the hospital by the Medical Director, Dr. Taiwo Hassan, alongside members of the hospital’s Quality Improvement Committee.
In a statement on Wednesday, General Hospital Ikorodu appreciated HEFAMAA, the Lagos State Ministry of Health, healthcare professionals and all stakeholders for their continued commitment to advancing patient safety and promoting high-quality healthcare across Lagos State.
The hospital pledged to continue to deliver quality and excellent services to residents.
