The Chief Learning Officer (CLO) of Kith and Kin International College (KKIC), Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, has urged senior students to make informed career choices by identifying their strengths, interests and aspirations.
Asiwaju Kaoli, who is the Asiwaju of Ibeshe Land and former Commissioner for Agriculture, Lagos State, also encouraged students to combine academic knowledge with practical skills and specialised expertise to remain competitive in the evolving global workplace.
He gave the charge during a career talk at the college during the week.
Students were introduced to emerging career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Technology, Genetic Counselling, Public Health, Telemedicine, Neuroscience, Environmental Science, Climate Technology, Financial Analysis, Wealth Management and Tax Consultancy, among others.
Engaging Arts students during the session, the educationist highlighted career opportunities in law, content creation, scriptwriting, policymaking, international relations, tourism and cultural studies, stressing that studying Arts does not limit professional opportunities.
Asipa Kaoli urged the students to make deliberate career decisions, develop relevant skills and embrace continuous learning to remain competitive, adaptable and future-ready.
The career talk is one of KKIC sessional developmental activities for their students.
