AMA Returns With Third Edition Of All -Stars Unity Football Championship

The organising committee of the AMA All -Stars Unity Football Championship, a football initiative designed to promote intra -Ikorodu Constituency II relationship and unity, has called for registration for the third ediion of the tournament.

AMA All -Stars Unity Football Championship, is an initiative sponsored by Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), representative of Ikorodu Constituency II.

Interested players must be 40 years and above and must possess a Valid Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to be eligible to participate.

As usual for AMA’s organised tournaments, matches will be played in four centres across the constituency – Imota, Ijede, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Centre and Elepe Centres.

In a statement by the Media Director/Personal Assistant to Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun, Mr Razaq Kabiru Babatunde, the registration for teams to participate in the tournament commenced on Monday, June 22, 2026, and will close on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The official statement advised interested teams to take advantage of the limited window to secure their place in what promises to be the biggest edition of the tournament.

According to the statement, interested teams are required to complete registration upon payment of a ₦50,000 registration fee through the designated championship account before filling out the official registration form.

There will also be a mandatory screening exercise for registered teams and players, which has been scheduled to commence on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and for this, every player must present a valid Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to be eligible for participation in the tournament.

For this edition, attractive rewards – Cash Prize Awards; Championship Trophy; Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals; Complete Sets of Team Jerseys; Man of the Match Awards and Individual Excellence Awards awaits participants and their teams.
