After a successful session some months ago, the administration of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA) in Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, is set to host another edition of its Mentorship Session aimed at grooming future leaders.
This year’s edition scheduled to hold at IBLCDA Secretariat on September 5th , 2026, is themed, “Leading with Purpose: Mentoring the Next Generation Transformational Leaders”.
Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Constituency, is billed to attend the event scheduled for the IBLCDA Secretariat Hall, Igbogbo, on September 5th, 2026 as the Special Guest of Honour while the Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, the Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly will deliver the keynote address.
The resource persons engaged as panelists are Hon. Vinod Obasa, Chairman, Agege Local Government, Hon. Jessica Oba, Council Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA, Engr. Gbenga Ogunlewe, Director, Mechanical Department, LSPWC and Mr Tolulope Faniyi, a Community Stakeholder.
Also expected to be among the panelists are Dr Murtala Seriki, APC Candidate, Kosofe II, LSHA, Damilare Orimoloye, SSA to the Governor on Sports, Dr. Adeleke Dankuwo, President, Igbogbo Youth Forum and Opeyemi Said, Real Estate Expert.
According to the Supervisor for Youth and Sports at the Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA) who chairs the planning committe, Mr. Toyib Oke, the session is a continuation of the transformational impacts of the Aroyewun led administration on the youths of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and other areas.
He enjoined youth stakeholders to attend the programme to renew their leadership capacity.
