Another Promise Fulfilled As AMA Gives Another Constituency II Community Transformer

Residents of Palm View Uptown Community Development Association, Igbokuta with the new transformer on delivery to the community

Palm View Uptown Community Development Association in Igbokuta in Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, during the week joined the growing number of communities that the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), has assisted in addressing their power supply challenges by taking delivery of a brand -new transformer from the lawmaker.

According to a statement by Razaq Kabiru Babatunde, Media Director/Personal Assistant to Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, the donation of the transformer is a fulfilment of a long – standing pledge by the agile and resourceful lawmaker.

He added that the newly purchased transformer is expected to alleviate the persistent power challenges faced by residents of the community, who have struggled with erratic electricity supply for years.

Rasaq said that the donation underscores his principal’s continued efforts to address infrastructural deficits and drive sustainable development in Ikorodu and beyond.

Hon. Abiodun further expressed his commitment to improving the standard of living in his constituency, emphasizing that access to stable electricity is a critical component of economic and social development.

“Today marks the fulfillment of a promise to the good people of Palm View Uptown Community.

“I believe that a stable power supply will not only enhance the quality of life for our people but also foster small businesses, improve security, and promote overall growth in the area,” the lawmaker said.

Hon. Abiodun urged the residents to safeguard the transformer and work with relevant authorities to ensure its proper maintenance and optimal use.

Community leaders and residents expressed their appreciation for the lawmaker’s intervention, noting that the transformer will significantly reduce the burden of constant power outages that have hampered their daily activities.

“This is a great relief for us. We are grateful to Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun for his commitment to the people of Imota LCDA. This transformer will go a long way in addressing our electricity challenges,” said Pastor Raphael Olanrewaju Aniyikaiye, the chairman of Palm View Uptown Community Development Association.
