-Third match no longer holds today
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 15th Gafaar Bolowotan Memorial Gold Cup going on in Ikorod, has announced the postponement of the third place match earlier scheduled for today.
In a statement by the LOC on Sunday, the final will go on as planned.
The third place game between Sharon FC, Owutu and Right To Smile FC, Ipakan, now comes up Tuesday, February 6, at the Police Barracks Playing Ground, Ikorodu,
The final match between Makbeth FC, Ibsehe, and Adosag International FC, lkorodu, is lasted for Wednesday, February 7, at the same venue.
“Please, be informed that the final match scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 7th February, 2024, will go on as planned”.
Meanwhile, in the semi – final matches played on Thursday and Friday, Sharon FC, Owutu, lost 4 goals to 5 to Makbeth FC, Ibeshe, via penalties after playing 1-1 draw in regulation time, while Right To Smile FC, Ipakan, lost 0 – 3 to Adosag Int’l FC.
The four teams are expected to get new set of jerseys for the third place and final matches as promised by the sponsor.
