A chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has enjoined Christians and other residents on the need to embrace love, compassion and work in togetherness.
While stating that the Easter period offers the opportunity of renewal, and hope, Aroyewun also assured residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA of a council where their voices would be heard, family thrives and dreams come true.
He gave the charge and assurance in a statement in commemoration of the 2025 Easter.
“As we celebrate the joyous season of Easter, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. This sacred occasion, marked by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a time of renewal, hope, and unity — a moment to reflect on the values of love, compassion, forgiveness and togetherness that bind us as a community.
“Easter reminds us of the power of new beginnings and the promise of brighter days. As the election for the Chairmanship of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA approaches, I am inspired by the resilience and spirit of our people.
“My vision is to foster a community where every voice is heard, every family thrives, and every dream is nurtured. Together, we can build a future that reflects our shared aspirations —improved infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, and sustainable development for all,” he said.
He pledged to serve residents of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA with dedication and integrity and ensure that the council becomes the pride of everyone if he is elected as its chairman.
“Let this Easter fill your hearts with hope and your homes with joy. May we come together in the spirit of unity to overcome challenges and embrace opportunities for growth.
