Workers Day Reminds Us Of Significance Of Labour To National Development – Aroyewun

The former aspirant for the lkorodu Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has celebrated with the workers in Ikorodu Constituency II, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State and Nigeria in general, on the occasion of the 2023 International Workers’ Day, today.

Every May 1, is being celebrated as International Workers’ Day, also known as May Day.

The young grassroots mobiliser, in a statement he personally signed to commemorate the day and celebrate the hardworking and tireless Nigerian workers, said that the celebration is a reminder of the significance of the labour to national development.

“Fellow workers, on this auspicious occasion of Worker’s Day, I extend my warmest felicitations to all hardworking individuals who contribute tirelessly to the growth and prosperity of our nation. Today, we celebrate the spirit of labor, the power of unity, and the achievements of the labor movement”, Aroyewun said.

“Workers are the backbone of our society, driving progress and innovation in every sector. It is through our unwavering commitment, dedication, and resilience that we are able to build thriving economies and vibrant communities. Worker’s Day reminds us of the significance of fair labor practices, decent wages, and safe working conditions.

“On this special day, I express my gratitude to workers of all backgrounds and professions. Your tireless efforts and contributions are the driving force behind our progress. May Workers’ Day serves as a reminder of our shared responsibility to create a future where every worker is treated with dignity, fairness, and equality.
