Easygold initiative, a mental health advocacy group has charged on the need to use the Easter Celebration in speaking out on mental health issues, show understanding and offer support for those in need of attentions.

The Chief Initiator of the group, Mr Temidayo Hassan (Dee One), in a statement commemorating the Easter Celebration, also charged that little gesture of kindness can makes a whole lot of differences.

“As we celebrate Easter, a time of hope and renewal, Easygold Initiative would like to remind you about the importance of mental health awareness. Just as Easter symbolizes new beginnings, it is also a time for us to reflect on our mental well-being and reach out to those who may be struggling’’, he said.

“Let us use this occasion to break the silence surrounding mental health issues and offer support to those in need. Remember, a simple gesture of kindness and understanding can make a world of difference to someone facing mental health challenges.

“This Easter, let us spread love, hope, and awareness about mental health. Together, we can make a positive impact and create a more compassionate and understanding world for all.

“Wishing you a blessed Easter filled with joy, peace, and good mental health”, Mr Hassan said.
