Awesu Supreme Court Matter Against Shittu Adjourned Till January 27
Kunle Adelabu The hearing at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja, over the authentic flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has been adjourned till January 27. Mr AbdulAzeez Adekunle Awesu is challenging the Appeal Court ruling of November 18, which affirmed Mr Abdulkareem Shittu as the candidate of the party. Hearing on the matter began yesterday with both contenders present at the apex court. The National Assembly election is slated for February 25, the same day with the Presidential election.
