The Lagos State Scholarship Board (LSSB), has slated the oral interview for the 2021/2022 academic session Bursary and Local Scholarship Awards for indigenes for Monday, 23rd and Tuesday, 31st January, 2023, for indigenes of the state.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed Mr Abdur-Rahman Lekki, the Executive Secretary, LSSB.
According to the statement, students of the Lagos State University (LASU) and Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) are exempted from the exercise.
The interview is scheduled to hold at different centres in the five divisions of the state.
It also stated that there will not be any extension of interview dates from the dates stated in the statement.

This is to inform students of Lagos State indigenes in tertiary institutions across the country that applied for the year 2021/2022 academic session Bursary and Local Scholarship Awards that oral interview has been scheduled for Monday, 23rd – Tuesday, 31st January, 2023.
The interview dates for the awards are scheduled as follows.
Mon. 23rd -Tues. 24th Jan. 2023
EPE:
Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, Noforija; Epe.
Mon. 23rd -Tues. 24th Jan., 2023.
IKORODU:
Lagos State University Of Science and Technology, Ikorodu.
Wed. 25th – Thurs. 26th Jan., 2023.
LAGOS:
St. Georges Primary School, Falomo, Ikoyi.
Wed. 25th – Thurs. 26th Jan., 2023.
BADAGRY:
Lagos State University of Education (Formerly AOCOED), Ijanikin.
Mon. 30th – Tues. 31st Jan., 2023.
Ikeja:
Lagos State Scholarship Board, 254, Ipaja Road; beside NYSC Orientation Camp, Agege.
Time is 9.00am – 4.00pm daily.
Documentation:
- Evidence of indigeneship from:
(a) An Oba/Baale/Regent/Chief of your village, town or city and
(b) Local Government/Local Council Development Areas - Current JAMB letter of Admission
- JAMB result slip
- Student’s identity card
- Birth Certificate
- Academic Certificate obtained
- Current semester result (for 8. scholarship applicants only)
- Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) identification card of the applicant
- Parents’ Tax Certificate
Any other documentary evidence
PLEASE NOTE that all LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) and LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC (LASPOTECH) students are exempted from this exercise. The exercise is ONLY for the stated dates and there won’t be any extension of dates whatsoever.
