Legislative Debate 2023: AAC Will Be Attending To Tell People What We Are Offering Them – AAC Ikorodu Chair

The Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC), Comrade Michael Olasoji, has confirmed that candidates of his party and stakeholders will be attending the 2nd edition of the Ikorodu Division Legislative Debate.

The Debate among the candidates for the Ikorodu Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives and the Ikorodu Constituency I and II seats in the Lagos State House of Assembly, is slated to hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

The debate is being organised by the R.E.A.L Initiatives and the Concerned Ikorodu Division Youth (CIDY).

The AAC Chairman, who spoke with THE IMPACT in an interview, made the confirmation.

He also charged other candidates and political parties to equally endeavour to attend to tell the people what their programmes are.

“Yes, our party would be available for the debate. It is also an avenue to share our manifesto with the people of lkorodu”, he confirmed.

“We also charge other candidates and parties to also come and debate what they have to offer the people of Ikorodu and let the people decide”, he charged.

The first edition of the debate in 2019 recorded about 90% percent attendance by candidates.

Most of the candidates for the House of Representatives and Assembly in the forthcoming elections, have also pledged to attend this year’s edition.
