Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has congratulated two sons of Imota on their academic feats of attaining a full Professorship status and Doctoral degree.
While Dr. Shakiru Abiodun Okedeyi, a senior scholar at the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), was confirmed as a Professor of Environmental Physics by the Governing Council of the institution, while another academia from Imota, Dr. Oyefolu Samson Oluwasegun, successfully defending his PhD in Politics and International Relations at the Postgraduate School, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.
In a statement congratulating the two scholars, Hon. Sunday, who is the incumbent Vice Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), felicitated the duo in a statement on Saturday.
“Hearty congratulations to Professor Shakiru Abiodun Okedeyi for being honoured as a Professor of Environmental Physics by the Governing Council of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), and Dr. Oyefolu Samson Oluwasegun for successfully defending his PhD in Politics and International Relations at the Postgraduate School, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.
“These well-deserved accomplishments make us incredibly proud and reflect the hard work, commitment, and brilliance dedicated to educational development. I applaud the duo for showcasing our dear beloved community, Imota LCDA, and for their respective impactful roles they have played in serving as a good model for others.
