Eletu’s New Year Message To Oke – Eletu Residents: Don’t Despair, 2024 Will Be Better

The Eletu of Oke – Eletu, High Chief Adeniyi Ajayi, has urged sons, daughters and residents of Oke – Eletu, not to despair but keep hope alive that Nigeria’s situation will turn around for better in 2024.

He also charged them to believe that government at Federal, State and Council levels, will remember the community for developmental projects.

High Chief Ajayi, the traditional head of Oke – Eletu, stated these in his New Year message to residents of his community.

“My message for the people of Oke Eletu, is that of hope and not despair; believe and not distrust, and fulfilment and not scarcity as we move into 2024. We will celebrate the new year in good health, happiness and love as we did with Christmas”, he said.

“Beyond the celebration, the new year will usher in good tidings in home and community and this year, government at all levels will remember Oke – Eletu for good. All our efforts to bring sustainable development will yield positive results, and we shall all smile.

“I pray that 2024 shall bring prosperity to our homes. All that we aspired to get in 2023, but unable to accomplish, may God make them easy for us in 2024”, Eletu Ajayi prayed.

The Eletu also extended his best wishes to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, the entire Obas and traditional chiefs in Ikorodu Division, while he specially greeted critical stakeholders in Oke – Eletu.

“My greetings also goes to our royal father, Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, entire traditional rulers and chiefs in the Division. I am wishing them a prosperous New Year with more developments and advancement for Ikorodu”, he said.

“I want to specially greet members of the Oke Eletu Resources Development Association, CDAs, civil servants, market men and women, artisans and every other worker, and wish them a productive 2024.

“I have no doubt that the country and our dear Lagos State will be better in the new year. I wish everyone a happy new year”.
