LASPOTECH Emerges Second Best In Maiden Southwest Tertiary Institutions Games

The contingent of the Lagos State Polytechnic has done the state proud again by emerging the first runner – up in the maiden edition of the South West Games (SOWEGA) for all Tertiary institutions in the region.

LASPOTECH clinched a total of 30 medals at the games held in Shagamu Ogun State, to emerge as best overall second position.

In a release by the institution’s Director of Information & Public Relations, Mr Olarenwaju Kuye, he said that the Polytechnic Rector, Dr Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye, appreciated the team while receiving them at the Ikorodu main campus of the institution on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

The Polytechnic Rector, Dr Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye, while receiving the contingent in his office at the main campus Ikorodu, appreciated the team and the entire coaching crew for the success, noting that they have indeed made the Polytechnic proud.

“You (the athletes) have done a great job to have come with such an enviable accomplishment at short notice”.
