Odofin Sotobi is Ayangburen-elect

High Chief Kabir Shotobi, the Odofin of Ikorodu on Monday, December 30, 2014 picked as the Ayangburen-elect by the Council of Ikorodu Kingmakers. Chief Kabir Sotobi is currently the Odofin of Ikorodu and closest ally of late Oba (Dr) Salaudeen Afolabi Adekoya Oyefusi, the immediate past Ayangburen of Ikorodu. He is from Adegorushen-Lasunwon branch of Lasunwon Ruling House in Ikorodu. The Kingmakers are yet to communicate their decision to the Lagos State Government has required by law. Old students’ association donate blocks of toilet to Oriwu College

Jimi Benson emerge candidate for Ikorodu Federal Constituency election

Barrister Babajimi Benson has emerged as All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate after polling 635 votes to defeat seven other aspirants contesting for Ikorodu Federal House of Representatives’ ticket. Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani Jimoh came second with distance 230 votes followed by Primate Charles Odugbesi who polled 22 votes.
