The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has welcome pupils to the 2026/27 academic session commencing today, urging them to focus on their studies and be the best that they can become.
He called for sustained efforts at nurturing the pupils by giving them good education under a conducive environment and ensuring their proper development.
Schools across Lagos State resumed today after a long holiday.
In a statement welcoming them, Aroyewun also lauded teachers and parents for their support and impact on the lives of the pupils.
“Dear Pupils, Parents, and Teachers, it gives me great joy to welcome you all back to school for a new academic session.”

Commending parents for their roles in nurturing their children, Aroyewun, said:
