‎
‎About a week aftermath the crucial security meeting with stakeholders in Baiyeku Area and his pledge to accelerate work on the ongoing construction of Baiyeku Police Station, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, today visited the site.
‎
‎
‎The Baale of Baiyeku, Chief Saheed Ajibode, and other community stakeholders, had appealed for the speedy completion of the facility amid concerns over recent security challenges, during a meeting summoned by the IBLCDA Chairman last week over the incessant cult clashes and other security challenges in the area.
‎

‎
‎The Chairman, who was accompanied by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Relations, Hon. Shakiru Seidu, directed workers at the construction site to finish the station promptly to facilitate commencement of operations.
‎
‎
‎He further pledged the council’s support for its completion to strengthen security and improve police response within Baiyeku and neighbouring communities.
‎
‎
‎The Chairman noted that an operational police station in Baiyeku would provide residents with a nearby location to report crimes and enable security personnel to respond more promptly to incidents.

‎
‎He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with the police, traditional rulers, community leaders and youth groups to protect lives and property.
‎
‎Aroyewun also reiterated his administration’s zero-tolerance stance on cultism and other forms of violence, urging residents to report suspicious activities promptly and provide security agencies with timely information to prevent crime and maintain peace.
