The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) ICT Centre hosted hundreds of pupils across the Ikorodu Division who sat for the 2026 Screening Test into Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with boarding facilities for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening which is for Primary 6 pupils, was conducted using the computer -based test format and was conducted by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education between Thursday 4th and Saturday 5th June, 2026.
Successful candidates are expected to gain admission into the 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools in Lagos.

A parent, Mrs Fapohunda, whose son took part in the screening at the LASUSTECH ICT Centre on Friday commended the state government for the organised manner that it was conducted.
Another parent who politely declined telling our reporter his name also lauded the introduction of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for the screening, stating that it will expose the pupils to global practice and improve the state education system.
Hilary Adelabu, one of the pupils that participated in the screening on Friday, also speaking on the test said that it went well and ‘was not that difficult.’

She expressed satisfaction at the screening, adding that she was certain of scoring 98 over 100.
Young test candidate, Korede Fapohunda also said that the examination went well and expressed his optimism at scoring a good grade.
