The immediate past Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Princess Folashade Olabanji -Oba, has been appointed into the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission’s Board.
She was appointed with the newly constituted members of the board by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo -Olu, following the dissolution of the former Hon. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu-led commission.
Princess Olabanji-Oba will be representing the Ikorodu Division on the commission’s board. The commission isresponsible for the recruitment, promotion, and discipline of local government employees.

Meanwhile, Comrade Lekan Oba, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Development, has commended it as a well deserved appointment for the former national vice chairman, National Vice Chairmen Forum of Nigeria.
“Dear Beautiful, your appointment as a member representing Ikorodu Division at the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission is a great development. This appointment is not just a round peg in a round hole, it’s a reward for long term service to the progressives and the Party.
“Her energy and her commitment is true and inspiring to the younger generation especially women.
“She is bringing her energy, exposure and experience to the table. Congratulations Mum,” the Governor’s aide said.

The SSA on Social Development also thanked the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson for his role in the appointment of Princess Oba by the Governor.
