The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has described the death of the late Grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Fadhilat Sheikh Dhikrullah Andullahi Andu Tanimose as a great loss to humanity.
Aroyewun averred that the death of the religious leader is a personal loss to him and many others around the world who had had encounters or interactions with him.
Fadhilat Sheikh Andu died late Monday and will be buried today.

In a statement that was personally signed by Aroyewun mourning the passage of the late Grand Chief Imam, the APC chairmanship candidate also described the late Grand Chief Imam as a peace loving and compassionate leader whose legacy will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
“I mourn the passing of my father and esteemed spiritual Leader, Late Alhaji Fadilat Sheikh Abdulahi Dikrulah Andu (Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA).
“His demise is not just a loss to the Igbogbo/Baiyeku community but a personal loss to me and everyone across the world who had the privilege of knowing and respecting him.

“Chief Imam was a beacon of peace, wisdom, guidance, and compassion, whose legacy will continue to inspire generations. His indelible mark on the sands of time including the realization of the Ultra-Modern Central Mosque makes him deserving of being immortalized,” he said.
He said that his family shared a close bond with the late Fadhilat Sheikh Andu and also acknowledged the special prayer that the Chief Imam offered him at the last Eid prayer.
He condoled with the family of the late Grand Chief Imam, the Adeboruwa – in – Council, Igbogbo Muslim Community and the entire Igbogbo community on the demise of the late leader.

“My family and Chief Imam share a very special bond, my most fond memory of him is his specific reference to the mentorship of my late grandfather and the critical role played in his emergence as Chief Imam.
“The last prayers offered to me at the last Eid prayers continue to resonate and serve as evidence that he is not a mere mortal but a true spiritual leader.

“I extend my heartfelt condolence to the Adeboruwa -In – Council, the Muslim Community, his immediate family, associates and the entire people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku on this colossal loss, I urge that we all take solace in the good life he lived, the cherished memories we all shared with him and the invaluable lessons he imparted.
“May Almighty Allah grant our Chief Imam, Al-Jannah Fridaus,” the Chairmanship candidate prayed.
