The Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced that Inter -Ward Football Competition in celebration of First Year Anniversary in Office of Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele the Executive Chairman of the council will kick – off tomorrow, Thursday.
The opening of the competition, tagged, BSA/BOJ U-21 Inter-Ward Football Competition among the political Wards in Imota LCDA, which is part of the week-long activities commemorating the anniversary will be played at the Imota Mini-Stadium.
The tournament is expected to bring together talented young footballers from the four wards of Imota LCDA to compete for honours while showcasing their football skills, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
According to Imota LCDA authorities, “Beyond the competition, the tournament is aimed at promoting youth development, fostering unity among communities, and discovering emerging football talents across the council area.”
Residents and football enthusiasts are emjoined to be part of the opening to cheer the participating teams.
