APC State Scribe, Gov’s Aide Congratulate Nation’s Treasures On Children’s Day

The State Scribe, All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Adeola Jokomba and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr Nurudeen Agbaje, have extended their greetings to the children on the occasion of the 2025 Children’s Day.

In separate statements, the two state functionaries identified with children that they described as the future of the state and the nation at large.

Dr Jokomba in his own statement described them as treasures of the nation which must be nurtured and protected to attain their potentials.

“Happy Children’s Day to all the young treasures of our great nation.

“As the State Secretary of APC Lagos State Chapter, I rejoice in celebrating the joy, laughter, and boundless potential of our children. Today, we honour their innocence, curiosity, and creativity.

“To parents, guardians, and educators, I commend your tireless efforts in shaping the next generation of leaders. Your influence is invaluable,” he commended.

Dr. Jokomba, who was a two – term council chairman, also called for continuous prioritization of education, healthcare and protection of children.

“Let us continue to prioritize education, healthcare, and protection for our children, ensuring they thrive and become positive change-makers.

“Happy Children’s Day once again! May joy and happiness fill our hearts!”

In his own statement, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, said that children are the pride of the nation and charge them to keep dreaming and study hard.

“The Office of Rural Development proudly celebrates every child in our rural communities. You are the hope of our future and the pride of our state.

“Keep dreaming big, studying hard, and showing kindness to one another. The Lagos State Government remains committed to ensuring you grow up in an environment that nurtures your education, health, and overall well-being.

“You are important. You are loved. And you have the power to shape a better tomorrow.

“Happy Children’s Day!”, Dr. Agbaje said.
