A Chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has suspended his campaign till Sunday to honour the late Babaloja of Igbogbo Kingdom and a philanthropist, Alhaji (Chief) Mukaila Onabanjo.
He said that the demise of the philanthropist is a great loss to the Igbogbo Kingdom.
The late market leader died on Friday.

In a chat with THE IMPACT, Aroyewun said that he has directed his team to suspend campaign till Sunday as a mark of respect for the late market leader, while at the same time extending his condolences to the family and the entire Igbogbo community in a statement issued earlier.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the late Chief Mukaila Onabanjo, the revered Babaloja of Igbogbo Kingdom and Olori Itun Itunmokun of Igbogbo on his passing.
“His demise is a profound loss not only to his loved ones but to the entire Igbogbo community and beyond. Chief Mukaila Onabanjo was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and leadership, who has contributed in no small measure to the economic prosperity of Igbogbo Community.

“I commiserate specially with our revered Kabiyesi, Oba Abdul-Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, The Adeboruwa in Council, The entire Itunmokun Family Of Igbogbo, the close associates of the deceased and the entire Igbogbo Community. I pray that Almighty Allah grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“Baba Oja’s legacy of service, integrity, and dedication to the welfare of others will forever remain etched in our hearts. May his good deeds continue to inspire us all.”
