Independence Anniversary: Federal Lawmaker Charges Constituents, Nigerians In Using Diversity In Achieving Dream Country

A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has urged Nigerians on the need to use the country’s diversity to achieve the country of their dreams.

Benson said that the population in the country has the capacity to make the country great and renewed the people’s and the country’s hope.

Rep. Benson gave the charge in a statement in commemoration of the 63rd lndependence Day Anniversary.

“As Nigerians all over the world celebrate the 63rd Independence Anniversary of our nation, I join residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, and other compatriots in celebrating the freedom of the most populous black nation, from British colonialism”, he said.

“Nigeria’s independence has undoubtedly paved the way for unity, peaceful coexistence, political autonomy, and economic development for its citizens, despite the challenges the nation faces.

“Being the 26th largest economy in the world, I believe that the potential of our youths, women, and population as a whole can be harnessed to bring about renewed hope for Nigerians.

“There is no better time than now to utilize Nigeria’s multi-ethnicity, diversity, unity, and national identity to achieve the country of our dreams”, Rep. Benson said.

The three term lawmaker also asked Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu and work together with him.

“I urge Nigerians to remain steadfast, resilient, and prayerful, while working together with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to overcome the economic and socio-economic challenges that has plagued the nation, and strive for greater prosperity”, he said.
