Nigeria @ 63: Senator Abiru Seeks Support For President Tinubu, Asks Nigerians To Be Hopeful

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has called on Nigerians to rally round President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government in its quest at restoring the lost glory of the country.

The Lagos East Senator gave the admonition in his goodwill message in commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of Nigeria’s independence issued on Saturday in Lagos.

At 63, Senator Abiru acknowledged that Nigeria is yet to attain her full potential despite the abundant human and natural resources the country is endowed with. He however urged Nigerians to show understanding with the present administration as it works assiduously to put the nation on the path of sustainable progress.

“Like I have always maintained, our challenges, though daunting but not insurmountable. I am confident that the current leadership of the country, under His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make our dear nation great again”, he said.

“The painful and tough decisions and policies of the government in the last four months were all inevitable if the nation must be rescued from imminent collapse. President Tinubu is providing the needed visionary leadership at this critical point in our nation’s history”.

“I urge Nigerians to strengthen the cord of national unity and shun divisive rhetoric that further widen our fault lines. The task of nation building requires collective efforts of when and women of goodwill. We cannot afford to give up on our dear nation”
