Carnival procession commemorating the arrival of Oba Kosoko back to Lagos in 1862.

The King Kosoko family of Lagos went all out on Thursday, September 16, 2022, to keep residents of Lagos Island awake as they trooped out in large numbers to embark on carnival procession to bring the memory of late Oba back.

 The procession, which was part of the activities marking the 160 years of Oba Kosoko back to Lagos after his exile in Epe, tagged, ‘The Return 1860’, covered Ereko, Balogun, Broad Street, Tinubu Square, Nnamdi Azikwe, Idumota.

Also, the Olowogbowo Fanty turned out in colours with horses and parade cart to add razzmatazz and fun on the street of Lagos.
