The Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, has conferred on Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru, former Clerk/Permanent Secretary, Lagos State House of Assembly, an honorary title of Otunba Fuwagbuyi of lkorodu, in recognition of his immense contributions to Ikorodu, Lagos and humanity in general.
Otunba Abiru, who is the Executive Secretary, Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited/GTE, was conferred with the royal title alongside his wife, Chief (Mrs) Olubunmi Abiru, who bagged the honorary title of Yeye Otunba Fuwagbuyi of Ikorodu Kingdom, at the Ayangbure palace on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The installation, which was very well attended, was part of the ongoing ‘Odun Odu’ (Osu festival) in Ikorodu which is usually the first traditional festival to hold every year in lkorodu.
The new Otunba Fuwagbuyi is the immediate past Chairman, Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS).
