Ace Artiste, Chidinma Turns Actress, Makes Debut In ‘The Bridge’

Ace female artiste, Chidinma Ekile, has joined the growing list of music acts who took to acting as she debut in a romantic movie ‘The Bridge’, produced by Lasun Ray and directed by Kunle Afolayan.

She plays the role of Stella, a young lady from a distinguished Igbo family who falls in love with a Yoruba Prince, Obadare, and secretly marries him against her parents’ wishes.

‘The Bridge’ tells the story of how love relationship is being  threatened by tribal prejudice and parental plans for their children’s life.

When the couple secretly got married against their parents’ wishes, the consequences shake the very foundation and sustenance of both families.

In a recent post on Instagram, Chidinma made an appreciative remark for her acting debut.

“Thank you for the opportunity to work with Greats like Demola Adedoyin, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Zack Orji, Kunle Afolayan, Tina Mba, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo, Wole Olowomojuore, Lanre Hassan, Jimoh Aliu, and Mama Ray-Eyiwumi”.

Fans of the artiste turned actress and cinema lovers should watch out for her brilliant performance in ‘The Bridge’.

The movie would be in the cinemas nationwide from the 8th of December, 2017.
