GRA -1 Ikorodu environment after Senator Abiru’s intervention

‎The gesture by Senator Tokunbo Abiru to facilitate 50 industrial solar street lights to  illuminate the GRA -1 environment in Ikorodu, has attracted commendations from the community stakeholders.  

‎ 

‎ 

‎The GRA-1 Community Development Association (CDA) Executive Committee, elders and entire residents, in a statement, has  commended the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, for illuminating the estate after many years.  

‎ 

‎ 

‎”The GRA-1 CDA Executive Committee, Elders and residents express their sincere appreciation to Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, for his support in facilitating the installation of 50 industrial solar street lights across the estate.  

‎ 

‎ 

‎”For a community that has experienced inadequate street lighting for years, this represents a major milestone, bringing improved illumination, visibility and a greater sense of security at night”. 

‎ 

‎ 

‎Residents of the area, which also hosted the Senator’s office and that of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ikorodu office, said that the impacts of the gesture would also affects the offices and their users.  

‎ 

‎ 

‎”The intervention is particularly significant considering the strategic location of GRA-1 CDA. Senator Abiru’s campaign secretariat is located within the estate, which also houses the Ikorodu INEC Office and borders the Ikorodu General Hospital. The impact of the project, therefore, extends beyond individual homes to residents, visitors and people accessing these important facilities.
