Otunba Lukman Akinsanya, Esq., the founder of PEPC Foundation, has reflected on his life in the last four decades as he celebrated his birth anniversary with a heart filled with gratitude alongside his family members and many who stood and are still standing by him.

‎Akinsanya celebrates his birthday every September 1.

‎In a statement commemorating his birthday, Otunba Akinsanya, recalled the challenges and triumph in the last 40 years of his life, adding that the death of his father, Late Otunba Saheed Kolawole Akinsanya, a retired police officer and safety ambassador, remained a challenge that he is yet to come over, but from which he has also learnt the essence of life.

‎“Today, I pause and look back not at the years, but at everything it took to get here. There were days I smiled while hurting, moments I felt lost, battles I fought quietly, and prayers I whispered when I had no words left.”

‎“I have lost people along this journey, but losing my Father remains the deepest wound in my heart. Yet, his absence has taught me the value of time, family, legacy, and living a life worthy of the memories he left behind.

‎”Lost battles, made mistakes, falling, rising, and I have learned the hard way. But through every high and every low, Allah remained faithful.”

‎At 40, Otunba Akinsanya expressed his gratitude to God, family and every other person that has risen in his support.

‎“At 40, I have nothing to prove, only a heart full of gratitude. Grateful for life. Grateful for family. Grateful for the goodness of those who stood by me.”

‎“If I am still standing today, it is only by Almighty Allah.

‎”40 years. Countless stories. One faithful God. Alhamdulillah for the journey. Alhamdulillah for life. Alhamdulillah for 40. Happy 40th Birthday to me”
