Representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson has lauded the Senator representing Lagos East, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, for building the next generation of digital leaders through the SAIL Innovation Lab.
Rep. Benson who is the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Defence, gave the commendation after his visit to the SAIL Innovation Lab at Ipakodo in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu Federal Constituency on Tuesday.
He stated that his counterpart at the Senate is impacting on young Nigerians and preparing them to create value in the global system.
“Earlier today, I had the privilege of visiting the SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, and I was deeply impressed by the calibre of innovation, learning and digital opportunities being created for our young people.”
“SAIL is more than a technology hub; it is a platform preparing young Nigerians with the skills, confidence and exposure to compete and create value in a rapidly evolving digital economy.”
He furthered:
“I commend my Egbon, Senator Tokunbo Abiru aka Elon Musk of Ikorodu and his wife, alongside the SAIL Empowerment Foundation and the entire SAIL team, for this visionary investment in human capital. Initiatives that equip our young people to learn, innovate and lead. He deserves our collective support.
