Aftermath a successful Snooker Championship, the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) is set to organise an indoor games championship.
The championship according to the state lawmaker, ‘is an initiative designed to bring our people together, discover hidden talents, promote healthy competition and empower our constituents through sports.’
The initiative tagged, “Hon. AMA Indoor Games Championship” will feature Table Tennis, Draught Ludo, Ayo Olopon and Boxing.
According to organisers, participation in the competition recognises or is on Base level (community/youth groups) across the three councils in Ikorodu Constituency II – Igbogbo/Baiyeku, Ijede and Imota LCDAs
“Participation is strictly at the BASE Level. Every base across Ikorodu Constituency II is invited to register and participate in the games. Each base will organise its own participants for the competition.”
