The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun, on Thursday led his Vice, Barr. Adeleke Ayeni, members of his cabinet and other Council functionaries to the Service of Songs in honour of late Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward C1, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Prince Adeleke Soberu.

The special service led by the Bishop of United African Methodist Church (UAMC Eleja) Cathedral, Igbogbo, also winessed the presence of the Council Leader, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Legislative Arm, Hon. Basirat Banjoko, Councillors, chieftains of the APC, APC LGA and Ward Chairmen, their executive members, family members of the deceased and residents.
Dr. Adeleke Dankuwo, President of Igbogbo Youth Forum (IYF), also led the community youths in their large numbers to attend the service of songs for the late community and political leader.
The remains of Late Soberu, who died Tuesday’s night at the General Hospital Ikorodu, will be interred on Friday after burial service slated for UAMC Cathedral, Igbogbo.
