The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), has expressed his appreciation to the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constitution, Rep. Babajimi Benson, over the approval of N15.7billion for the construction of Pacific -Igbe Laara Road.
The road that links several communities in Ijede and Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), two of the three council areas in Ikorodu Constituency II, was facilitated by Rep. Benson.
AMA, in a statement, described the project as an investment into future development of his constituency in particular and Ikorodu Federal Constituency in general.
“With profound gratitude and immense pride, I sincerely appreciate my Boss, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, for yet another outstanding demonstration of visionary leadership and purposeful representation.
“Your relentless advocacy has, once again, yielded remarkable results with the Federal Executive Council’s approval of the construction of the Pacific–Igbe Laara Road at the sum of ₦15.7 billion.
“This landmark project, which links Ijede LCDA and Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, is more than a road, it is a strategic investment that will improve connectivity, stimulate economic activities, ease transportation, enhance security, and significantly improve the quality of life of our people”, AMA said in a statement.
The state lawmaker thanked Rep. Benson for his quality representation that has continued to impact constituents in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, inspires confidence and promotes development.
