As part of the activities marking the end of the 2025/2026 Leo Service Year administration led by Leo Abdulsalam Adebayo Tijani, the Igbogbo Platinum Leo Club has successfully renovated and handed over the school library at Oreyo Senior Grammar School, Igbogbo.
According to Leo Abdusallam, the renovation of the library, which is in his alma mater, was embarked upon after observing its condition and gotten necessary approval from the executive council and the club.
He added that the club had thought of renovating the school’s sick bay initially, but had to jettisoned the idea to embark on the library project because of its importance.

Leo Abdulsalam noted that the project required significant financial commitment and resources, but expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the Club the strength and opportunity to complete it successfully.
Abdulsallam emphasised that the renovation and handing over of the Oreyo Senior Grammar School Library stands as a testament to the commitment of Igbogbo Platinum Leo Club towards educational advancement, community development, and sustainable service to humanity.
He appreciated the management of Oreyo Senior Grammar School, the sponsoring Lions Club, Lions International District 404-A3 Nigeria, and all members of Igbogbo Platinum Leo Club, for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout the project.

Leo Abdulsallam also expressed his special appreciation to Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Lion Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, Lion Bosun Vaughan (President, Sponsoring Lions Club), Lion Sodiq Abubakr (Leo Advisor), Mr. Sanni Yusuf, Leo Abdulateef Balogun, Leo Saliu Amina, Aaishah Alowoshehin, Leo Balogun Habeebat, Leo Adijat Oseni, Leo Shakira Oguntola, Musiliu Faruq and Ayeni Rafiu, for their financial contributions towards the project.
In her remarks, the Principal of Oreyo Senior Grammar School, Mrs. Fasiku Oluwatoyin, expressed profound appreciation to the members of Igbogbo Platinum Leo Club, for what she described as the resurrection of the school library, and commended the club for investing in the educational development of students and creating a conducive learning environment.

Similarly, Mr. Tijani and Mrs. Ajiboye, Vice Principal (Administration and Academics respectively), appreciated the leadership and members of the Club, for the impactful project, and assured that the renovated library would be properly maintained for the benefit of present and future students.
Also speaking at the event, Mrs. Ajayi, Chairman of the Parents’ Forum, encouraged students to make adequate use of the library and take collective responsibility for maintaining the facility.
Distinguished Lions and Leos at handing -over were Leo Lion Edwin Cole Victor, Leo Lion Omolaraeni Faniyi, Leo Lion Adewusi Damilola and members of Igbogbo Platinum Leo Club.
