Dr. Akinola Ogunlewe Stem Centre (AOSTEM) has honored 15 of its scholars that scored above 260 in the recently concluded UTME JAMB examinations, in fulfilment of its promises to them.
The young and brilliant scholars were honored during the get -together event organized by the Network Global Mandate Alliance Youth (NGMA), Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, at the AOSTEM Centre, Apalura, off Dr Akin Ogunlewe Avenue, Igbogbo, last weekend.
The AOSTEM Centre is an educational hub in Igbogbo, Ikorodu, which provides free academic and digital skills classes for students preparing for WAEC, NECO, and JAMB exams. The centre also offers scholarships to students.

Alhaji Qudus Oduntan, the Director, AOSTEM Centre and Secretary to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, presented the student with highest score aggregate of 322, Miss Dauda Adijat Aduke with the sum of N50, 000 each, while the scholar with the second best score, Ogunleye Samuel who recorded 310 score, received N30,000, and the third best student, AbdulSalam Raodhot who scored 299 in the UTME JAMB, got N20, 000.
Other scholars honoured were Dauda, Kudirat Amoke (264), Okiji Abdur-Rahman (286), Yakubu Aishat (282), Abdulraheem Moreedyat (274), Ogunleye, Hazeemah (267), Avbuere Marvelous (264), Adokwa Jemimah (260), Oni Ayobami (276), Alidu Mistura (286), Ajisafe Azeezat (271), and Adisa Badikis Abiodun (275).

Also fulfilling his promise to the scholars, a friend of AOSTEM Centre, Dr. Kayode Olaide who said that he attained his status today due scholarship that Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, former Minister of Works and founder of AOSTEM Centre, and others gave him early in life.
He presented the students with the best UTME JAMB results from the AOSTEM Centre with N20, 000 each, while 14 others received N10, 000 each.
Alhaji Quddus, speaking with THE IMPACT, commended the students for their outstanding performances and for making the centre proud, while enjoining other students to emulate their academic brilliance.

He pledged that the centre will continue to support educational pursuits of students in and around Igbogbo, and also mentor them to attain greatness.
At the ceremony were Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, former Minister for Works, Hon. Nurudeen Solaja, former representative, Ikorodu Constituency II, Chief (Mrs) Karimot Jokotade Ojikutu (Nee Idowu), the Iyalode of Igbogbo , Prince Habeeb Awosanya, APC chieftain, Hon. Abdulsallam Tijani, Special Adviser on Youth to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA’s Chairman and Administrative Officer, AOSTEM, and Pastor Adeyemi Benson, Supervisor for Education, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, among others.
