Council Chairman Commends Ijede Residents For Active Environmental Participation

‎Residents of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), have been commended for their active participation in the monthly environmental sanitation held last weekend by the Executive Chairman of the council area, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba.

‎It was the second edition of the reintroduced exercise in Lagos State.

‎The monthly exercise is aimed at improving environmental hygiene and public health standards, and also, to encourage community participation in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.

‎Chairman Gbadebo-Alogba, accompanied by members of the executive, management team, legislators, and health officials, during the monitoring of the exercise, engaged directly with residents and monitored strategic locations across the council area to assess compliance and resident participation.

‎She commended the people of Ijede for their participation and cooperation.

‎Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba urged them to continue to support the council in making the environment cleaner.

‎“We must all do more to achieve the cleaner and healthier environment we desire. I also encourage residents to work closely with PSP operators to ensure proper and effective waste disposal at all times.”
