Islamic Cleric Urges Nigerians To Remember The Kidnapped, War Victims While Celebrating Eid -Mubarak Celebration

‎An Islamic cleric, Imam Abdulganiu Abdulazeez Ajaramokewu, Chief Imam, Anwar -ul-Islam, Igbogbo, has urged the Muslim faithful to be conscious about others and uphold the tenets of the Eid Mubarak celebration while commemorating the Islamic festival.

‎He also charged them to remember kidnapped victims and others that are affected by war and are unable to celebrate the season like them.

‎Imam Abdulganiu Ajaramokewu gave the charge today while delivering his sermon to the congregation that attended the Anwar -ul- Islam’s Eid Mubarak prayer at the HOMAT praying ground in Igbogbo on Wednesday.

‎He asked Muslims to remember to victims of kidnappings who are still held captive and those affected by wars and pray for them.

‎Imam Ajaramokewu also enjoined Muslims to disregard kidnappers and bandits destroying or killing others in the name of Allah.

‎While emphasising that Allah will not eat rams being slaughtered for sacrifices in commemoration of the Eid Mubarak, he also charged the faithful to fear Him and do his biddings always.
