The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, and the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun today, joined hundreds of Muslims in Igbogbo to observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayer.
The Eid prayer at the Igbogo Central Mosque eid praying ground was led by Imam Abdulhameed Abdulraheem, the Imam of Opeyemi Mosque, Igbogbo, who is standing in for Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque, who is observing this year’s Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
While traditional chiefs and Baales accompanied the Adeboruwa to the Eid ground, Omo’ba Aroyewun was accompanied to the ground by members of his cabinet.
Also at the ground to obeerve the Eid-el-Kabir prayer at the Igbogbo Central Mosque praying ground were Mr Waheed Kasali, Permament Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Education, Princess Basirat Banjoko, Council Leader, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Alhaji Qudus Oduntan, Secretary to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Mr Shakirudeen Odusanya, former General Manager, Lagos State Printing Press, Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, APC chieftain, Alhaji Olawale Abdullah (Bobomi) , APC chieftain, and Alhaji Andu, the Shadeen of Igbogbo Central Mosque among others.
