The six council chairmen in Ikorodu Division under the aegis of the Conference 57 Chairmen, Ikorodu Division, has congratulated the Alajede of Ijede, HRM, Oba (Hon.) Adefarasin Saheed Hassan, the Ajanaku II, on his final coronation ceremony.
The colourful coronation rites which began in January ended on Sunday in Ijede with social gatherings in Ijede.
In a statement released by the chairmen commemorating the coronation, they said the emergence of Oba Adefarasin signifies peace, unity and progress for Ijede.
”We the entire members of Conference 57 chairmen, Ikorodu Division, heartily congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Adefarasin Saheed Hassan (AJANAKU II) on the auspicious occasion of his coronation as the Alajede of Ijede Kingdom.
”This historic event marks the beginning of a new era of peace, progress, unity, and cultural preservation for the good people of ijede Kingdom. We are confident that under your royal leadership, the kingdom shall witness unprecedented growth and development.”
The council chairmen furthered in their joint executive message:
”As your Royal Majesty ascends the revered throne of your forefathers, we pray that Almighty God grants you long life, divine wisdom, sound health, and a peaceful reign filled with remarkable achievements.
”Congratulations once again on this well-deserved coronation.”
