Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has lauded the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, for the facilitation of construction of Pacific road to Igbe Laara.
The road, which runs through the entire Igbe towns in Ijede and Igbogbo LCDAs, will connect the Igbogbo/Bola Tinubu/Igbe Laara/Gintin Road which is being constructed by the Lagos State Government.
She confirmed that the federal lawmaker, who was a few days ago given another mandate to stand in for the 2027 General Elections, ensured that approval and budgetary provision were given to the important project with track reference ERGP12247885.

“I sincerely thank and commend my boss and leader, the distinguished representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson (JB), for facilitating the approval and budgetary provision for the construction of the strategic Pacific Road linking Igbe Laara Bus Stop, under project track reference ERGP12247885, in Ijede LCDA to Igbogbo/Baiyeku”, Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba said.
While further commending the federal representative as a man of the people, the council boss described the his gesture as another effort to improve the infrastructure in the two council areas covered by the project.
“Indeed, JB remains a true man of the people and a leader whose words are bankable. JB is widely known for purposeful, people-oriented representation and visible grassroots development. Whenever JB speaks, development follows. When JB moves, the people feel the impact directly.
“This road project is another clear testament to his commitment to improving infrastructure, easing transportation challenges, and boosting commercial and social activities within Ijede, Igbe communities, and adjoining areas. The people are already looking forward to the commencement of the project”, Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba said.
