Kunle Adelabu
A trained historian, administrator and financial expert, Mr Ayoyinka Adebola Ogbe, has again declared his intention to run for the Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Ikorodu Constituency I.
Mr Ogbe aspired for the Ikorodu Constituency I three years ago.
The aspirant had distinguished eight years of service with the Lagos State House of Assembly, as a Principal Legislative Officer, contributing significantly to legislative drafting, public hearings, budget scrutiny, and oversight functions.
He served across major committees including Budget and Economic Planning, Judiciary and Human Rights, Information Strategy and Security, Health Services, and House Services, as well as various ad-hoc committees constituted to address critical governance issues.
He was born on August 27, 1979, into the family of Barrister (Rev.) and Mrs. S.F.O. Ogbe of Ikorodu, Lagos State. He is a Prince from the Odujumo Araba Oba Branch of the Lasunwon Royal Family in Isele, Ikorodu.
Ogbe began his educational journey at Ola-Olu Primary School, Somolu, Lagos, and proceeded to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, Ikeja. He holds a B.A. (Ed.) in History from Lagos State University, Ojo, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
He further enhanced his expertise with professional studies in Finance and Governance, including certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and government licensing in financial advisory practice in Canada.
His core interests focus on human capacity development, infrastructural advancement, financial discipline, youth empowerment, grassroots development, security reform, and sustainable policy formulation for state and national development.
The Ikorodu Constituency I aspirant has vast experience which spans governance, financial services, regulatory compliance, and strategic policy analysis, reflecting a commitment to accountability, transparency, and responsible leadership.
OGBE Ayoyinka Adebọla remains dedicated to nation-building through sound policy, inclusive governance, and community-driven development initiatives, attributes he intends to bring into representation to deliver quality and impactful service to the people of Ikorodu and Lagos State in general.
His campaign agenda, “YES WE CAN” focuses on: Y – Youth Empowerment, E – Education & Human Capital, S – Security & Community Safety, W – Wealth Creation, E – Environmental Sustainability, C – Connectivity & Infrastructure, A – Accountability & Financial Discipline, A – Access to Quality Healthcare and N – New Digital Economy.
If elected, OGBE Ayoyinka Adebola, intends to Empower People, Strengthen Communities, Improve Healthcare, and Build a Prosperous Ikorodu and Lagos through representative legislation or law making.
