In a New Year message to the residents of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of the council has assured of a renewed hope by consolidating on the gains of her administration in 2025.
She recalled some of the landmark projects and impactful programmes and policies of her administration of the immediate past year and called for further support and cooperation.
“I join the good people of Ijede LCDA and beyond in welcoming the year 2026 with gratitude to God and renewed hope for the future.
“The year 2025 was a landmark period for our administration. From major infrastructural developments and the commissioning of modern educational facilities to our direct community cash grants and youth empowerment schemes, we have laid a solid foundation for growth.
“I am eternally grateful to the good people of Ijede LCDA for your continued support, trust, and cooperation. Your belief in our vision has been instrumental to these achievements, and together, we will continue to build a more prosperous Ijede.
“The progress we seek for Ijede LCDA is a collective task. I enjoin you to continue standing with our administration as we implement our developmental agenda for the new year. Your constructive engagement and unwavering trust are the fuels that drive our passion to serve.
“Let us move forward with a united front, knowing that together, there is no limit to what we can achieve for our beloved LCDA,” she said.
Ijede council boss assured that her administration remained committed to improving the socio- economic life of the people and creating more opportunities in 2026.
“As we enter 2026, our administration remains even more committed to building a more prosperous Ijede LCDA. I pray that this new year brings fresh opportunities, new beginnings, and lasting success for us all.
