Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency who chairs the House Committee on Defence, has charged his constituents and the entire Nigerian citizenry on the need to remain hopeful, united and steadfast for a better Nigeria in 2026.
The three -term lawmaker gave the charge in his New Year message, while also calling for continuous support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in attaining his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country.
“As we step into a brand-new year, I extend my heartfelt New Year greetings to the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency and Nigerians across our great nation.
“The year 2025 tested our resilience, but it also strengthened our collective resolve. As we look ahead with renewed faith and optimism, I urge us all to remain hopeful, united and steadfast in our belief in a better and more prosperous Nigeria.
“The New Year brings fresh opportunities to deepen progress, expand development and deliver greater dividends of democracy to our people. I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to effective representation, people-centred legislation and impactful interventions that will continue to improve lives and livelihoods.’
