In furtherance of his engagement with key community stakeholders, the APC standard bearer for Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Chairmanship position in the forthcoming Local Government Election, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), paid a strategic visit to the Selewu Estate Central Working Committee (SEWOC).
During the visit, the campaign team paid homage to the traditional head of the community, Chief Olusola Adeleke Olugbode, Baale Oremala Selewu, who gave them royal blessings.

The Baálẹ also urged the candidate to ensure that his administration serves the people diligently and with the fear of God, when he gets into the office.
Aroyewun, while assuring the Baale that his administration would serve the people, also emphasised that his GLORY Agenda will promote socio – cultural rebirth of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
Meanwhile, the campaign team of HOA was received warmly by members of the SEWOC and residents of the estate.

Residents, during the visit, threw their full weight behind Aroyewun, with an open endorsement which signaled a strong grassroots backing for his ‘Ọ̀nà Ògo’ vision.
In his remarks, Aroyewun expressed sincere appreciation to the SEWOC leadership and residents of Selewu, for their overwhelming support, unity of purpose, and visible enthusiasm towards his candidacy. He described Selewu as a progressive minded community with a proud legacy of participation and political awareness.

He reaffirmed his commitment to bringing the government closer to the people, ensuring that developments within estates like Selewu, are prioritized under his administration.
He also emphasized the importance of estates and resident associations in community planning, safety and development, promising a government that listens and responds to real needs.
