The Board of Trustees (BOT) and the entire members of the Community Initiative for Igbogbo Development Union(CIIDU), a non- partisan development-oriented platform based in Igbogbo, has commiserated two of their chieftains who lost their father, Elder (Chief) Abayomi Okusanya JP., the Baba Ijo of the United Africa Methodist Church Cathedral, Igbogbo, last week.
Late Okusanya died last Thursday, at the age of 87 years old. He will be buried on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, in Igbogbo.

In a statement signed by the President of the group, Dankuwo Adeboye Esq, CIIDU sympathized with a member of its BOT and Director, Agency for Mass Education, Lagos State, Mrs Kemi Kalesanwo, and its General Secretary, Mr. Tunde Okusanya, daughter and son of the late community and religious leader.
“The Board of Trustees and the entire member of CIIDU family, through this medium, commiserate and condole with our sister, Mrs. Kemi Kalesanwo (BOT member) and Mr. Tunde Okusanya (CIIDU General Secretary) on the passage unto glory of our dear father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Elder (Chief) Abayomi Okusanya JP. The Baba Ijo of the United Africa Methodist Church Cathedral, Igbogbo.

“Our prayers and support are with you at this grieving moment.
“May the Lord rests the soul of our father, peacefully in Jesus name.
“Please, accept our sincere condolence”, CIIDU said.
