The campaign team of Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in lmota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and his co – flag bearer, Princess Abisoye Jimoh, has strengthened their campaign structure with the inauguration of a Mobilisation Committee.
The committee, which covers the four political wards in Imota LCDA, was inaugurated to propagate the APC flag bearers, including the Councillorship candidates.

The event took place when the party’s flag bearers hosted chieftains and members of APC, Imota LCDA chapter, at a Special Stakeholders Campaign Engagement with all the community – based groups across Imota LCDA.
The event which took place at the N.S. Sho Hotel, on Monday.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including members of the APC LGA LOC, LGA Executives, Ward Executives, Zonal Chairman and representatives of CDC, Artisans, Youth Organizations and religious body among others.

In a statement by the Chairmanship candidate, he said that the stakeholders’ Campaign Engagement is an initiative to reach the nooks and crannies of Imota LCDA with the APC campaign activities.
He further explained the importance of the engagement: “The essence of this meeting was to foster collaboration and strengthen grassroots support in preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections scheduled for July 12, 2025”.

While commending the leadership of various groups, APC LOC, apex leaders and members of the party, Hon. Benson said that the programme reaffirmed that his administration would bring everybody on board when elected into office.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of all the enthusiastic associations, the dedicated Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Apex Leaders, Party leaders, stakeholders, and party faithfuls who graced the occasion. Your presence and active participation made the programme a remarkable success.

“This programme reaffirms our unyielding commitment to inclusivity and fairness, offering equal opportunities to all, regardless of age, tribe, gender, religion, colour, or background. It echoes our mission: to bring the Imota LCDA of our dreams into a reality. We aim to bridge these gaps, making our initiatives accessible to all”, he said.
