“Today, I honour the men, the pillars of strength, sacrifice, and commitment. Fatherhood is not simply a title — it is a daily calling to lead by example, to protect, to provide, and to guide the next generation with integrity and purpose. The role of a father is one of the most powerful and impactful forces in a child’s life and in the foundation of our society.”

Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, Member, Lagos State House Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, gave the above description in a statement commemorating the Father’s Day today, Sunday, June 15.

He charged that no matter the situation, fathers must make their presence in building their families and impacting positively on the society.

“Happy Father’s Day!

The lawmaker, continues: “To every man, father, grandfather, and father figure in our constituency: your leadership matters. Your presence matters. Whether you’re working long hours, coaching a team, lending advice, or simply showing up — your dedication shapes futures and builds stronger families.
